Church and community are an important part of Judy's life. Some of her highlights in life include serving as a Sunday School teacher. Sharing her trust in God is extremely important to her.

She recently graduated from Class XXV of Leadership Oklahoma and is on the Board of Directors Choctaw Code Talkers Association, Creative Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Arts Institute. Judy serves on committees for Choctaw Nation Natural Resources, Tribal Donations, and Employee Benefits.

Recently, Judy was honored to lead the organization and successful implementation of the first tribal festival at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) in Washington, D.C. The occasion was such a success that the museum has requested the festival become an annual event, and has launched a campaign to request other tribes across the United States to host celebrations at NMAI.

Rating high among Judy's past accomplishments is being on the leadership team to obtain recognition through the U.S. Congree for Native American Code Talkers. Other achievements including leading teams to begin the first Choctaw Commermorative Trail of Tears Walk and Choctaw Veterans Ceremony, both of which are now annual events.

Philosophy she shares with others is very simple: Be kind to others. Say thank you with sincerity. Give more than you take. And ALWAYS have a positive attitude.

Judy and her husband of 33 years, Ray, make their home in Coleman. They have one son and five grandchildren of whom they are very proud.
